Inter confirms Adriano's exit

04/24/2009 - Milan, Italy (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Inter Milan confirmed Friday that Brazilian striker Adriano has left the club by mutual consent.

Adriano has had an incident-packed eight years with Inter but clashed with boss Jose Mourinho several times this season regarding his weight and fitness problems.

"FC Internazionale would like to communicate that the contract of Adriano Leite Ribeiro has been mutually rescinded with effect from April 1 2009," a statement on Inter's official website read. "The documents have reached the National League of Professional players.

"A hug to Adriano on behalf of all at Inter for eight years and 74 goals lived together."

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska running back Marlon Lucky was hospitalized Monday for undisclosed reasons after Lincoln police responded to a call at his residence.

The Nebraska athletic department said in a release Monday that Lucky was admitted Sunday night.

Brandon Roy Favorite to Win 2007 NBA Rookie of the Year

Ever since his torrid start, Morrison’s point production has declined each month. This really isn’t surprising, considering at 6’8” he only weighs 205 lbs. Obviously he will need to hit the weights big time during the off-season in order to keep from breaking down in the future.
